We won’t have time to get a post in this week. Last week’s post is already on this week’s feed, and I hoped to catch up by having two posts together. Sadly, we are entering the plains states and must make time as we cross along the Great Lakes and push for Upstate New York and the last of the leaves changing.
In lieu of a second post, let me remind people who aren’t receiving our weekly email to sign up for it. Our weekly email goes out every Sunday morning and has direct links to whatever we have posted the previous seven days. You just click the links and get taken to awesome stories and pictures of our awesome lives. Aside from that, you just have to allow images to appear in you email (because most email services block them so you don’t click on malicious links) or open the email as a webpage (which our email has a link to on the very top).
From there you’ll see links to our photo gallery, our Instagram, and our map. The gallery is updated frequently with behind-the-scenes images and stuff that we don’t put on Instagram. Eventually we go back and add captions (it takes awhile to get that kind of free time and internet connection) so you know where and what we took pictures of. That will let people get caught up on where we are and what we’ve seen.
Likewise, our map shows all the waypoints we set for our trip. Yellow ones are “maybe” while red ones are “must see.” Blue waypoints are places we have already been to. So between the photo galleries and the map, you will have a great idea of where we are, where we’ve been, and what we’ve seen.
The Instagram is an up-to-date option because it is quick and easy to post a picture, write a caption instead of an article, and have it up on the internet in short order. So that gives you three other ways to track what we’re up to: none of which require much reading or much attention span.
Lastly in our weekly email, is a link to our journal. That’s where you are now if you’re reading this. Redundancy is redundant, so there’s always a redundancy. See how that works? Me neither, but it means there are a gazillion ways to follow what’s happening, so you’re out of excuses.
